Other information of interest: The winery was born from an old idea that haunted several residents of the area who were looking for a way to value and promote the well-known Rubiós red wines. Thus, at the end of 2003, the first partners laid the foundations for this idea and founded Señorío de Rubiós, which currently has more than 100 partners who work to place Rubiós wine in the place that has always corresponded to it, by tradition, for its varieties and for the quality of its wines. Señorío de Rubiós is a different winery within the Denomination of Orixe Rías Baixas, since it is committed to the production with native red varieties without ceasing to pamper the production of white wines. The fact that the winery is located in the Subzona do Condado do Tea strongly marks its philosophy. And for this reason, the main objective is to recover and maintain the valuable wine legacy that has always existed in this area. For this reason, from the beginning a clear commitment was made to native red varieties, such as sousón or pedral, in addition to the white varieties that have always been present in O Condado, such as albariño, treixadura or loureira branca. Over the years, the winery has not renounced new elaborations and new wines, among which sparkling and rosé stand out.
